Design of a mobile application and a community website around the GR70 for children.

Project completed in 2022 during my first year in UX/UI design master's program.

Problem

How to create a community website around the GR70 that shares values of authenticity, sharing, and environmental protection?

Our solution is to create Peak, a community site that facilitates the organization of the GR70 by allowing users to find companions to undertake it with. The objectives are as follows:

Build a supportive community around the GR70 :

Create a collaborative space where members share common values: sharing, authenticity, and environmental protection. Users will find all the necessary information to organize their trek, but they can also exchange with other members and share their experiences.

Centralize information and resources: 

The site must be as comprehensive as possible to spare users the arduous task of consulting multiple sites to find all the information they are looking for. This site should be self-sufficient for the complete organization of the trek.

Encourage local tourism :

The goal is also to encourage trekkers to travel in their own country. Indeed, it is important to travel close to home before touring the world, as traveling has a real ecological impact. That is why we wish to promote this trek and remind everyone that there are many things to discover right in our own backyard.

Find travel companions:

Enable hikers to find travel companions, whether they are beginners seeking help or experienced hikers looking for company.

Following these interviews, two personas were created, representing two target user groups for our product:
